The Steering Committee consists of the person responsible for the client
relation and the "Contractee". The Steering Committee decides on major
changes to the project plan and the budget as well as on major changes
to the projects goals and priorities. The Steering Committee also reviews
all major milestones and decides whether to move on the next phase of the
project.
It's the steering committee that take grand decisions like starting
or ending the project as well as an overall delivery acceptance, leading
to a closing of the project.
